Physical Therapist

First Shift – PRN

1 weekend (Sat/ Sun) required every 4 weeks

Job Description:

• Evaluate and treat patients; develop a treatment plan; and set goals for patients. Patient and family education is included in the treatment plan and goals.

• Complete documentation according to applicable national and state regulations as well as hospital and departmental policies.

• Assist with the education of affiliating students, department staff, hospital staff, and the community at large.

• Delegate to and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians.

• Participate in departmental operational plan.

• Intervene appropriately and meet the needs of the patients with impaired mental abilities, vision, hearing or mobility.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree from a school of Physical Therapy

• Current License by the Kentucky State Board of Physical Therapy

• BLS within 90 days
