As a Risk & Underwriting Senior Analyst, in our Pharmacy Underwriting Development Program (PUDP), you’ll support pricing and underwriting strategy for pharmacy benefits solutions, helping to shape competitive financial offers that drive revenue growth while managing financial risk. You’ll work closely with Sales and Account Management teams, contribute to business-critical proposals, and support analyses that directly influence client outcomes and enterprise profitability.
What You Can Expect from the PUDP Experience
Our robust training class will teach you the ins and outs of Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) an essential part of the healthcare system. After training - you’ll contribute to a wide range of underwriting and strategic pricing activities, including:
Developing Pricing Strategies: Collaborate with Sales and Account Management to create competitive pricing for new and renewing business, including Request for Proposals (RFPs), direct offers, and market checks.
Conducting Financial Impact Analyses: Provide support on ad hoc requests to evaluate financial impact of changes such as formulary adjustments, retail network updates, or specialty drug arrangements.
Supporting Contract and Install Processes: Assist with financial aspects of client contracting and onboarding, ensuring consistency and alignment with pricing standards.
Collaborating Across Teams: Work with internal partners, including Product, Network, Clinical, and Legal to deliver company aligned and compliant financial solutions.
Supporting Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of forecasts, budgets, and strategic initiatives by analyzing financial trends related to rate relief, pass-through shortfalls, and gross margin projections.
You’ll be immersed in the Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) space, gaining knowledge of our industry-leading products and services while building the technical and professional skills needed to grow within the organization.
Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree is required. Preference for the following major and/or minors are preferred: Risk Management, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Finance
Relevant internship in related field preferred (Risk Management, Economics, or Finance or similar)
Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher
Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities
High comfort level working with data and Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Collaborative mindset and ability to build strong internal partnerships
Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to a team-oriented environment
Problem-solver with a customer-focused mindset

Start Date: July 20, 2026
Location: This is a Hybrid position out of Bloomfield, CT; Philadelphia, PA; Franklin, TN; Chattanooga, TN; Morris Plaines, NJ; Saint Louis MO; or Bloomington, MN. A Hybrid position means that you will be expected to work in-person for at least 3 days (Tuesday, Wednesday and a day of your choice) at your assigned office location, with flexibility to work at home for balance of time.
Work Authorization: This position is open only to individuals who are eligible for employment in the United States and who would not require visa support including H-1B or CPT/OPT/STEM, etc., now or in the future.
