Project Manager - Environmental Health

PROJECT MANAGER to work in our Health Science Portfolio. This group of 100+ science professionals provides toxicology, hazard assessment, epidemiology, risk assessment, exposure assessment, computational methods, environmental modeling, and related support that addresses the full spectrum of potentially hazardous agents, including chemicals and microbes. We specialize in identifying and quantifying the effects of environmental pollutants, such as metals, pesticides, and volatile organic compounds, on human health and the environment.

The Project Manager’s project work would support federal agencies, such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), in developing and evaluating traditional and computational approaches and new approach methods (NAMs) and providing support services to meet these goals.

The preferred work location is Durham, North Carolina; however, the candidate may be authorized to work remotely.

Basic Requirements:

• Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing relevant projects
• Program Management or Project Management Certification
• Must have prior federal government experience as a federal employee or federal contractor
• Prior experience in directing and managing staff assignments, monitoring timelines and schedules, and ensuring product and service quality. This includes experience reviewing documents and materials to ensure that deliverables are error-free and created in accordance with professional standards and in a timely manner.
