Position:          Sr. Manager, Biostatistics (ref.# 7966)

Location:         3551 Lawrenceville Road, Princeton, NJ 08540

Duties: Draw on experience with clinical trial design; standard and advanced statistical methods such as methods used for longitudinal data analysis and cross-sectional survey data, Bayesian semi-parametric analysis, pediatric Bayesian extrapolation, statistical modeling for two sample location scale survival data; and SAS, advanced statistical analysis, data manipulation, graphing & simulation to collaborate in design of clinical study including methodology, data analysis & interpretation, and reporting of study results. Author and/or review protocol synopsis, protocol, statistical analysis plans, case-report forms, clinical study reports, associated publications, and other study level specification documents. Perform and/or validate statistical analyses, advise ways to maximize clarity of data display. Communicate results to cross-functional teams by providing data interpretation in study documents such as clinical study reports, and publications. Translate scientific questions into statistical terms and statistical concepts into layman terms. Compliant with BMS processes and SOPs, adherence to global and project standards within Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy indication or Cardiovascular therapeutic area and responsible for quality of deliverable. Develop technical knowledge of statistical methodology and how it is appropriately applied in trial design and data analysis for clear, concise, high-quality results. Enhance knowledge of drug development process, regulatory and commercial requirement. May telecommute to Princeton, NJ from any U.S. location.

Requirements: PhD in Mathematical Sciences, Statistics, Biostatistics or a related field and demonstrable ability to perform the stated duties and responsibilities, which may be gained through Ph.D. degree studies. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Mathematical Sciences, Statistics, Biostatistics or a related field plus 3 years of post-baccalaureate experience reflecting demonstrable ability in the skill set described above. The required skills do not need to be maintained over the full term of required experience.

Salary:             $138,000/year – 186,000/year

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $138,000/year – 186,000/year, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).

The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
