    Job Description

    We seek a qualified Contract Project Manager to lead and coordinate the implementation of a grant management system across multiple agencies. The successful candidate will ensure timely, within-budget, and effective phased rollouts, providing oversight and coordination between participating agencies and the vendor.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate closely with agency grant teams, vendor personnel, and designated agency points of contact (POCs).
    • Conduct regular structured meetings to track implementation progress, manage risks, and resolve issues.
    • Organize discovery-phase data and facilitate agency-specific implementations.
    • Monitor adherence to timelines, deliverables, and project scope.
    • Evaluate and execute formal change orders as necessary.
    • Validate vendor invoices against agreed deliverables.
    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, status reports, and notes.
    • Collaborate effectively with the vendor's project manager to align deliverables and resources.
    • Assist in creating shared implementation resources and best practice playbooks.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Proven experience managing multi-agency projects, particularly in governmental IT or grants management environments.
    • Knowledge of cloud-based and SaaS system implementations (experience with grants management systems preferred).
    • Strong ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with diverse stakeholder groups.
    • Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) preferred.
    • Prior work experience with governmental entities beneficial.

    Nice to Have:

    • Experience specifically implementing grant management systems within state or multi-agency contexts.
    • 3–5 years of experience leading complex, cross-agency projects within governmental settings.
    • 3–5 years of demonstrated leadership managing project teams, timelines, and vendor relationships.
