About the role

 

Are you a service-minded person who values good customer service and teamwork? We are now looking for someone who wants to be involved in how HR will support Scania's operations!

 

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions. We are on a journey of change towards digitalisation, electrification and automation – a journey that requires strong, efficient and business-centred HR support. We have recently implemented a new global HR system Success Factors (SAP) and we are working with ServiceNow, both technical tools that help us in the journey towards modern and automated HR support.

 

The HR Service Center is the first point of contact for Scania's general HR questions and we collaborate with many of our functions within People & Culture at Scania. HR Service Center is an organisation within Scania's central People & Culture organisation. As an HR generalist within the HR Service Center, you will help ensure that our managers and employees receive professional HR support. You will be an important part of how Scania works with HR support! 

Tasks

Within HR Service Center, you as an HR generalist will provide advice and support to managers, employees and HR at Scania in Sweden in a professional manner. We answer questions by our case handling system, by phone and by e-mail regarding questions relating to HR-related areas; e.g. issues relating to employees' employment, salary issues, description of processes and procedures, interpretation of agreements, regulations and policies, as well as support in HR systems. As an HR Generalist, you will also be involved in developing new processes and standards as we modernise and digitise HR support within Scania in order to contribute to the business in the best possible way.

As an HR generalist, you must have a high level of knowledge of Scania's HR processes and a very high level of service so that customers feel that it is easy to contact the HR Service Center and that they are always close to fast, high-quality information.


Out of profile

  • We see that you have an education in HR, a university degree from a human resources program or equivalent work experience within HR 2–5 years
  • We would like to see that you have worked in a service organization or in a service-oriented role
  • We assume that you are good at communication and that you have a high level of pedagogical ability
  • You have expertise in HR processes and IT systems. If you have worked with Service Now and/or Success Factors, it is an advantage
  • You have a very good ability to use IS/IT administrative systems to be able to provide the right support and improve the efficiency of the daily work
  • You have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing
  • We would like you to have previous experience of change management and be used to a high pace.
