Philips Image Guided Therapy is looking for a Project Manager to lead and execute New Product Development (NPD) projects. In this role, you will drive the development of cutting-edge medical devices by managing cross-functional teams and fostering partnerships with external suppliers and stakeholders.
Your role:
Leading the end-to-end execution of NPD projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. Leading a core team of cross functional team members to deliver on project commitments.
Developing detailed project plans that include timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with external suppliers and partners to ensure project success.
Facilitating the development of product requirements with input from cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Marketing.
Proactively identifying and managing risks, issues, and dependencies across projects.
Ensuring clear, consistent communication with stakeholders at all levels, including regular updates on progress and key milestones.
You're the right fit if:
You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience managing NPD projects in the medical device, healthcare, or similarly regulated industry, with experience managing projects involving disposable medical devices, hardware, and software. Experience with imaging-guided therapy devices, cardiovascular products, structural heart disease, and medical imaging technologies and/or experience with regulatory pathways, clinical trial design, usability studies, or voice-of-customer processes would greatly benefit this role. Software development experience is a plus.
Your skills include expertise in working with external suppliers, including contract negotiations and relationship management.
You have a strong understanding of new product development processes, stage-gate methodologies, and regulatory and quality standards (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485, EU MDR). Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) are required.
You have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field. Advanced degrees and PMP Certification is preferred.
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
You’re an exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities. You have a demonstrated ability to lead and influence technical and commercial teams in a fast-paced environment.
How we work together:
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
