Engineering Project Lead (m/f/d)

Your contribution:
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team and support pursuit  engineering activities for our low voltage automotive energy storage systems. This  customer-facing role requires a dynamic individual with experience in complex systems  and the ability to manage multiple projects and customers simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Primary Energy Storage System engineering contact to the customer

• Coordinates with the Program Manager of the Product and supports them in meeting the milestones

• Lead pursuit engineering activities for automotive low voltage Lithium Ion batteries, Sodium Ion batteries, and super capacitors.

• Collaborate with automotive customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.

• Develop and maintain system architectures, requirements, and specifications.

• Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Lead technical support and guidance to customers throughout early customer engagement through project award.

• Lead a cross functional engineering team including, systems, electronics, software, mechanical, modeling, and cells.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of energy solutions.

• Conduct system-level analysis, modeling, or simulation to ensure compliance with customer requirements and automotive standards.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 

• Fluency in both German and English

• Proven experience in systems engineering, particularly in the automotive industry.

• Strong understanding of low voltage Lithium Ion batteries, Sodium Ion batteries, and super capacitors, including electronics and software.

• Experience with complex systems and automotive customers.

• Experience with automotive Functional Safety, ISO26262

• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple project simultaneously.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.

• Proficiency in system modeling and simulation tools.

• Knowledge of automotive standards and regulations.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience in Project Management is desired
