Lead Product Designer - REMOTE

We are seeking a talented and collaborative Remote Lead Product Designer to join our Experience Design team, with 6+ years of industry experience who can craft a digital product from inception to launch and beyond. You would be a great fit if you are someone who thrives working on a multidisciplinary team, creates exceptional experiences, and excels at communicating with clients.

We’re looking for someone with a passion for end-to-end design thinking that drives best-in-class product design. Ideally, you are someone who has experience with the following:

• Research and understand the target audiences' needs, tasks, and goals and create relevant artifacts, such as personas and journey maps
• Gather, analyze and define business and user requirements
• Facilitate workshops to gain user and business insights and drive collaborative creative ideation across the product team
• Provide strategic recommendations that consider the full range of users' cross-channel touchpoints, motivations, and pain points
• Collaborate on the overall design of the user experience working with the business and technical consultants to design the most appropriate solution
• Generate detailed workflows and wireframes
• Understand the client’s existing brand, marketing, and style guidelines to ensure our deliverables are in alignment
• Explore visual design directions
• Create elegant visual design with thoughtful typography, color, and composition
• Create visual content (iconography, illustration, etc.) to enhance a design
• Develop comprehensive future-facing design systems
• Support usability testing through preparation, facilitation, analysis and recommendation
• Work with developers to realize the user experience, provide creative QA, and support implementation

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• 6-8 years of industry experience as a versatile product designer
• Advanced knowledge and experience with varying and current UX research methodologies
• Expertise working across desktop & mobile digital products
• Highly skilled in Figma
• Proficient knowledge of accessibility standards WCAG 2.0 or higher
• Advanced experience in creating and leveraging design systems
• Excellent communications skills and ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across the organization at all levels
• Must have a digital portfolio to share
• Skills and attributes for success
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to exhibit tact and diplomacy in order to deal effectively with people and situations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
• Results-oriented professional, known as a strong conceptual thinker
• Ability to facilitate workshops and discussions, encourage creative thinking and practice active listening
• Ability to communicate tactical and strategic design choices and recommendations to clients and internal team
• Ability to easily work within a larger team or solo depending on the need

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $73,008 to $170,640. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
