We have an exciting opportunity to be a Senior Manager, Accounting & Controllership in the Raytheon Financial Accounting organization.  This position is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated financial manager with strong analytical skills to gain experience at the Business Unit Headquarters level. This role is responsible for supporting multiple accounting projects at the Raytheon level.

This role is highly collaborative and requires working across various groups in support of ongoing accounting initiatives and ad-hoc projects such as re-organizations and divestitures.

What You Will Do: 

  • Accounting support for acquisitions, divestitures and re-organizations

  • Accounting support for international sites and joint ventures

  • Activities arising from system transitions (OneStream, eHub)

  • GAAP Cash Flow analysis

  • Support audit requests from various audit agencies

  • Perform monthly, quarterly and annual balance sheet flux analysis and reporting

  • Review account reconciliations

  • Participate in special projects and analysis

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field & a minimum of 10 years finance experience; OR an Advanced degree and a minimum of 8 years finance experience

  • Experience with SAP or a similar financial system

  • U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience in headquarters finance

  • Experience influencing peers and leadership to drive action and results

  • Experience working independently, including identifying and leading strategic initiatives across a matrixed organization

  • Good analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills 

  • Experience in DoD or Aerospace industry

  • Experience with divestitures and re-organizations

  • Experience with cash flow reporting

  • Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and ownership of assignments
