Bear Flag is an early stage team at John Deere, acquired in August 2021, with a growing portfolio of projects in the autonomy space and is looking for a HR Generalist to join our growing team.

What you will Do

• Support employee lifecycle administration from onboarding, payroll issue resolution, benefits administration, status changes, and off-boarding.
• Manage employee change process including coordinating all required approvals and data entry into HR/Payroll system. Responsible for maintaining HR systems with all employee data changes in a timely and accurate manner. Conduct audits of HR-related data using various systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Perform tasks related to the administration of benefit, wellness, and leave of absence programs. Assist employees with benefit-related questions.
• Support payroll processing by partnering with Finance and our payroll processing vendor.
• Assist our Office Coordinator & Office Manager in planning employee activity programs to support the work culture, including onsite and virtual events to support employee engagement and fun!
• Assist with recruiting efforts using our Applicant Tracking System (Lever).
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the Human Resources team’s initiatives.

Who you are

• 2+ years of recent Human Resources related experience (HR administration, including HR systems, payroll, benefits, onboarding, and offboarding).
• Possess an understanding of basic human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
• Able to prioritize effectively, ensure accuracy and demonstrate solid organizational skills.
• Possess strong verbal/written communication, time management, organization, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
• The ability to multi-task in a growing, fast-paced environment.
• Technically adept: intermediate Google Suite and MS Office skills, HRIS software, ATS software.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $75,000 and $123,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors that are unique to each candidate, such as but not limited to training, transferable skills, depth of work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for variable pay and benefits.
