Description
Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business applications and analytics.
Develop normalized and denormalized data models for OLTP and OLAP environments.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and governance across systems.
Utilize data modeling tools (MagicDraw, SQL Data Modeler etc.) to document and visualize data structures.
Define and enforce naming conventions, data standards, and best practices in data architecture.
Collaborate with data engineers and DBAs to optimize database performance and storage efficiency.
Assist in ETL/ELT pipeline design, ensuring seamless data flow across systems.
Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify relationships, dependencies, and anomalies.
Stay updated with emerging trends in data modeling, data governance, and cloud-based data platforms.
