Period of Appointment

Fixed-term until 7 April 2026.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.

Duties

  • Provide timely and accurate information and guidance on legislation administered by the Unit and identify possible breaches where appropriate.
  • Conducting investigations as required to prepare a recommendation for the statutory officer.
  • Investigate complaints, allegations and other matters as directed by the Manager Rental Services and Director, Compliance and Dispute Resolution.
  • Prepare orders and Notices under relevant legislation for the statutory officer.
  • Prepare prosecution files, reports and recommendations in relation to investigations in a timely manner.
  • Promote, develop and assist with the implementation of programs, policy and guidelines that improve understanding of and compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Respond to enquiries and complaints by providing information and advice to stakeholders on the operation of relevant Acts and Regulations.
  • As required perform other tasks and duties within the division.

Desirable Requirements

  • Current Drivers Licence
