We are looking for an experienced professional with solid knowledge of the banking industry and experience in working with technology/IT to develop Nordea’s Nordic banking book collateral management capabilities. This is full time and permanent Analyst or Senior analyst position.

 

About our team
 

Meet the Collateral Capability’s Data & Solution team. Our role is to build and maintain safe and trusted cross Nordic collateral management processes, solutions and data. We work as a group level centralized unit, collaborating closely with stakeholders across all Nordea business areas.

 

Our team is part of Group Credit Management organization. We have currently 8 team members located in Helsinki, Stockholm and Oslo.

Team’s mission is to build and maintain safe and trusted cross Nordic collateral management processes, solutions and data. We work as a group level centralized unit, collaborating closely with stakeholders across all Nordea business areas. We play a crucial role in developing and supporting processes for e.g. credit risk assessments, ESG assessments, collateral valuations and risk models.

We drive cooperation along the value chain to ensure that solutions and processes are being developed and operated in the most efficient way. We seek opportunities to improve and optimize processes by utilizing innovation, automation, continuous improvements and advanced data analysis.

What you’ll be doing  
  

Main responsibilities in this role:

• Supporting development, roll-out, and maintenance of common Nordea Collateral Solution (NCS) application from a business/functional point of view
• Finding and driving changes and functional improvements to NCS
• Supporting business stakeholders with leveraging collateral data in reporting, analysis and risk models
• Collaborating with Application Maintenance (IT) to secure good application management and support
• Securing compliance with Nordea Application Management and Data Governance frameworks

Your background and skills include:

• Master's or Bachelor’s degree in information technology/Computer Science/Economics or related field
• At least 4 years of experience in application or process development in roles like analyst, project manager or product owner
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Experience in application development, data models and APIs can be beneficial

It would be ideal if you also:

• Have experience in banking book collateral management processes, applications or data
• Have at least basic skills in SQL and data analysis
