Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Transportation Responsibilities

Are you a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a passion for providing excellent care in a retirement community setting? Foothills Retirement Community is seeking a dedicated CNA with transportation responsibilities to join our skilled nursing unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Resident Transportation: Safely transport residents to and from appointments, including physician visits, and assist them in and out of offices as needed.
• Appointment Coordination: Prepare and communicate a list of scheduled appointments to staff to ensure smooth coordination of care.
• Specimen Delivery: Transport medical specimens to the appropriate facilities promptly and efficiently.
• Hospital Discharges: Pick up and transport residents back to the community after hospital discharges.
• Nursing  Assistant Support: When not transporting, assist with nursing duties,  including feeding residents, providing restorative services, and supporting activities as directed by nursing staff.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure that the transportation vehicle is clean, fueled, and report any maintenance issues to the Maintenance Department.
• Other  Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall care and well-being of our residents.

Requirements

 Qualifications:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong commitment to compassionate care and service.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
