Position Summary:
The Arc NCR is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide behavioral health consultation and clinical support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role includes conducting assessments, developing and monitoring support plans, training staff, and ensuring documentation and billing compliance with COMAR and DDA waiver standards.
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure all Support Plans are created, monitored, and updated in accordance with The Arc NCR policy, COMAR, and DDA waiver requirements.
- Provide Mental Health Consultation services as outlined in the waiver to include Assessments, Plan Development, and ongoing evaluation, review, and analysis of data and annual updates of Support Plans.
- Train the appropriate team members on a person’s Support Plan.
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely billing
- Participate in intake meetings to assess potential admissions into programs.
- Conduct treatment fidelity assessments to ensure proper implementation of the support plan.
- Be a resource to team members to ensure they have the tools and knowledge needed to support the person served through Clinical Support Services.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with COMAR and waiver requirements.
- Follow procedures, protocols, and workflows for Clinical Support Services.
- Respond to Quality Enhancement (QE) team requests by deadlines given.
- Provide regular and frequent performance feedback to team members and offer mentoring and skill development to improve and enhance performance.
- Assess and provide suggestions for staff training in the areas of psychological and mental health supports.
- Support orienting new team members to the Clinical Support Services team.
- Complete and submit monthly billing.
- Undertake other duties as assigned, including special projects and cross-program development.
Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience:
- Master’s degree required.
- Three to five years’ experience as an LCSW, with at least two to three years supervisory experience in this industry.
- LCSW (Required); LCSW-C and Social Work Supervisor
- Experience with individuals with disabilities and co-occurring disorders
- Proficient in person-centered and trauma-informed approaches.
- Competencies in person-centered and trauma-informed supports, data collection, tracking, interpretation, and reporting.
- Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
