**This position will typically start on 1st shift for training.  Shift may change once training is complete.

 

What You Will Do

 

Are you a “read the instructions” kind of person? Do you enjoy putting together puzzles and using your hands? We have an amazing opportunity that will allow you to apply both traits while impacting the future of flight, all within your backyard!

 

·          Work from manuals, service bulletins and other technical instructions.

·          Use various hand tools, precision measuring equipment, special tooling and gauges.

·          Coordinate parts, consumables and non-product material movements.

·          Function as an Assembly tech to ensure standard work and standard methodologies are accomplished while assuring daily targets are met.

·          Be fully engaged to support all Continuous Improvement, Quality, EH&S, and overall Operations initiatives and policies to meet company goals.

·          Perform other related duties as assigned and refer team challenges to Supervisor.

·          Responsibilities would be in one or more of the following areas: sub-assembly, balancing, main assembly and packing of engines in the repair and overhaul area.

 

Qualifications You Must Have 

·          Must possess Powerplant License or obtain Powerplant license within 90 days of offer acceptance.

·          High school diploma or GED equivalent

·          U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Qualifications We Prefer

·         2+ years specialized training in maintenance, assembly or test of gas turbine engines or similar aircraft systems.

·         Prior experience working on Turbofan engines.

·         Knowledge of aircraft engine assembly procedures including fits and tolerances, use of precision measuring instruments and gauges, hand tools, special assembly equipment and the ability to work from complicated drawings and specifications.
