Machine Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the proper operation and upkeep of our critical shop machinery.  This role will be responsible for maintaining, cleaning, servicing, and repairing a wide range of equipment – including coil lines, plasma tables, and specialty forming machines.  The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proactive in identifying issues, and collaborative when coordinating with internal teams and outside services providers.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and servicing of all shop machinery and equipment including:
  • Coil Line
  • Spiral Pipe Machine
  • Plasma Tables
  • Button Lock
  • Stitch Welder
  • Spot Welders
  • Gore Lock Machines
  • Roto-Die
  • Shear
  • TDF Machine
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Identify, locate, and document parts required for repair or replacement.
• Partner with the Supply Chain Specialist to source and order replacement parts and coordinate with third-party repair or service vendors as needed.
• Maintain detailed service logs and maintenance records.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure all equipment meets operational safety standards.
• Assist in maintaining and servicing forklifts and large air compressors.

What You’ll Bring:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years experience in machine maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

  • Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted. 
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
