As a Security Guard - Retail Driving Role in Brentwood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at this retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for visitors and staff. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while you remain approachable and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling in a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policies. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or incidents according to company and site guidelines.
• Assist tenants, staff, and visitors with inquiries and directions as needed, maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
• Work in collaboration with Allied Universal team members and site management to address security-related needs and concerns specific to the property.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
