Job Description
As Human Resources (HR) Digitization and Automation Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the Talent Development Programs and Training Department for North America. This internship will focus on automation projects and tasks with the ability to identify process efficiencies and work with experts to determine solutions. You will contribute to business efficiency and operational excellence by supporting key stakeholders to drive for talent development. As HR Intern, you will support with the following tasks (include but not limited to):
Automation:
- Create, update and enhance PowerBI dashboards for HR data visualization to derive business decisions (for example: trackability, visual formatting, derive key takeaways)
- Optimize data quality and utilization and of talent development tools (dashboards, reports) to support HR analytics and predictive culture
- Reduce or improve Excel spreadsheets collection and reporting
- Extracting data from Excel and put in formats that are easily usable by end user
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and create efficient data processing workflows
- Conducing data audits to cleanse data and identifies errors
Digital support:
- Manage content updates to social platforms used to inform associates about talent development processes, tools, and resources (HTML, CSS, some design knowledge helpful)
- Prepare regional talent review meetings to drive efficiency, accountability and execution of agreed development measures and actions
- Other day-to-day duties and projects as needed
Qualifications
- Candidate pursuing an Associates, Bachelors or Masters degree related to Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering. Also consider a recent graduate needing work experience.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Power BI
- Preferred experience in Microsoft Power Apps, ETL tools (Alteryx, KNIME)
- Preferred foundational data cleaning, structuring, and analyzing knowledge
- Must be able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week (full-time preferred)
- Experience in automation tools, projects and/or studies
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- This is a hybrid role. On site work is expected at least one day, preferably two days per week
