Communications Assistant

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Communication Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the communication efforts of the organization, ensuring clear and effective messaging across various channels. This role involves collaborating with team members, managing communications platforms, and assisting in the creation of content to enhance the organization's visibility and reputation.

Responsibilities:

• Content Creation:

Assist in drafting and editing written materials, including press releases, articles, and internal communications.

Generate engaging and compelling content for various communication channels, such as social media, newsletters, and website updates.

• Social Media Management:

Monitor and maintain social media accounts, ensuring consistent and on-brand messaging.

Create and schedule posts to promote organizational events, achievements, and updates.

• Internal Communication:

Facilitate effective internal communication by managing communication tools and platforms.

Assist in organizing and coordinating team meetings, ensuring that important information is communicated efficiently.

• Media Relations:

Support the coordination of media outreach and manage relationships with journalists and media outlets.

Monitor media coverage and compile reports for internal review.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools.
• Organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic graphic design skills are a plus.
