Job Description
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining plant equipment and facilities to ensure minimal machine downtime and maximum production efficiency.
- Perform mechanical repairs of a complex nature using hand and power tools.
- Perform preventive maintenance when possible.
- Fabricate machine guards, special tools and equipment as needed.
- Install machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Repair hydraulic equipment, hoists and lift-trucks.
- Maintain the plant physical structure.
- Perform all duties in accordance with work instructions and procedures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a 2 year course in Maintenance Mechanic
- Experiences in operating manual machining equipment such as lathes and mills.
- Experiences in welding.
- Fluent in Spanish.
- Basic skill level in Microsoft Office software.

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- An applicant must complete a satisfactory background check post-offer of employment. A criminal conviction will not be an automatic bar to employment.
- Must be willing and able to pass a post-offer drug screen and physical (if required)
