AES Clean Energy (AES CE) is seeking a Senior Product Systems Analyst (SPSA) to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our software applications and products that support our rapidly growing business. AES CE, a division of The AES Corporation, specializes in developing, owning, and operating renewable energy projects. The Senior Product Systems Analyst will be part of a team of developers and product teams to design, implement, and maintain solutions that meet our organization’s needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of business processes and IT systems. This position will preferably be based in the Louisville, Colorado office or alternate location Salt Lake City, Utah. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

·        Product Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with product owners, product managers, stakeholders, and users to gather and document detailed product requirements. Analyze and translate business requirements into technical specifications and system designs. Conduct feasibility studies and impact analysis to assess potential solutions.

 

·        System Design and Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions using Quickbase, SQL, and other relevant technologies. Create detailed system documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and data models.

 

·        Product Lifecycle Management: Support the product lifecycle from concept to launch and ongoing optimization. Troubleshoot issues with the product and create best practices to prevent future issues. Provide support to end-users and guidance to junior analysts to expand support. Monitor and analyze product performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.

 

·        Testing, Quality Assurance & Training: Develop and execute test plans to ensure product systems meet quality standards and user expectations. Conduct system testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) processes. Identify, document, and resolve system issues and defects. Train
