ABOUT THIS ROLE

Are you passionate about driving innovation, improving infrastructure, and championing DevOps best practices? At Apex Fintech Solutions, we're looking for a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us build reliable, scalable solutions that align with our product roadmap.

Dutie/Responsibilities

• Advocate for and implement DevOps best practices to enhance system availability, scalability, and efficiency.

• Design and execute an improved CI/CD strategy, establishing a robust and streamlined release pipeline.

• Oversee the observability program by monitoring critical signals, such as latency, traffic, error rates, and saturation.

• Proactively test and ensure the system's flexibility and resilience through disciplined failure identification and recovery efforts.

• Build and maintain scalable, reliable infrastructure in AWS to meet high-demand service requirements.

• Containerize and implement auto-scaling solutions for infrastructure components.

• Drive impactful improvements in infrastructure automation.

• Maintain a growth-oriented mindset and constantly seek to evolve as an engineer.

Education and or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) required

• 5+ years of prior work experience in the DevOps space.

• Experience in supporting AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, Data Pipelines) and managing distributed AWS environments.
   

Required Skills/Abilities

• Proficiency in implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting strategies using tools like CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Datadog, Splunk, or similar.

• Strong skills in containerizing applications (Docker, Kubernetes), scripting (Bash, Python), configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible), and version control systems.

• A collaborative mindset with an ability to foster meaningful relationships and achieve shared goals within a team.

• Ability to manage time efficiently and is highly collaborative

Salary Range

$141,000-$176,250

The annual base salary range for this position is noted above. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location.
