1st Shift, Monday - Friday. 8:00am - 5:00pm

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Lead a team of Transportation Analyst that manage daily and weekly shipping schedules and delivery/shipping appointments for customers
• Ensure timely processing of customer deliveries to external service providers
• Investigate and determine the root cause of all service failures; implement corrective actions whenever necessary
• Develop training material around delivery release, scheduling, creation of shipping documents and labels according to customer specifications
• Communicate with carriers and customer service associates in case of shipping challenges
• Create Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) notifications and shipment updates using the customer portal
• Maintain established levels of productivity and quality standards within a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with both internal and external business partners to maintain on time shipping requirements
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• 4 years of transportation experience
• In-depth knowledge of the supply chain/logistics industry
• Availability to travel occasionally

It’d be great if you also have:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience working in a Warehouse or Distribution Center managing shipments
• 6 years of direct management experience
• 4 years of SAP experience
• Experience with WMS and manifesting software as it relates to logistics applications
• Project management skills and experience
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Proven leadership and collaboration skills with experience effectively supervising, mentoring and influencing employees
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience as a collaborative, innovative and strategic thinker
• Solid customer relationship management skills

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 25 lbs.
• Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
• Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
