Job Description

Responsible for both the project management and production managing of all client projects. Leo Burnett Detroit’s OE+ Production department covers the entire range of marketing for our clients (online advertising, email/text, social), traditional (print, out-of-home, collateral), brand site, and retail.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Planning
    • Work with all members of assigned project team to determine costs, timing and resources necessary for project strategy, execution and delivery.
  • Execution
    • Prepares for, leads and documents project team meetings.
    • Works with internal and external resources to obtain art, copy and a/v assets as needed.
    • Ensures approval is obtained from Client, Marketing, Strategy, Legal, Client Legal, Creative, Proofreading, Product, etc. as deliverable routes internally and externally.
    • Electronically organizes creative briefs, work orders, scripts, logos, images, etc. for latest reference material.
    • Creates, maintains and communicates project plans, proposals and estimates, scope documents, risk assessments, specifications, project schedules and change requests.
    • Ensures all project information is archived appropriately, including briefs, work orders, client approvals, production, assets, financials, etc. upon completion of project.
    • Ensures strong relationship with internal studio and broadcast production, and proactively resolves creative/production concerns.
    • Ensures that project remains on schedule and on budget and takes corrective measures as needed, managing both internal and external milestones.
  • Leadership and Communication
    • Clearly communicates tasks, timing, milestones and budgets to project teams on a regular basis.
    • Coordinates all activities of the project team, following up on all action items and ensuring that project tasks are completed.
    • Works with internal resources to proactively solve project related issues directly prior to escalating those issues appropriately and as needed.
    • Communicates and adheres to Client and Agency policies.
    • Reviews all assets for accuracy as they move through Integrated Production.
    • Runs internal project team meetings to set production expectations and next steps.

Qualifications

  • Position based at Leo Burnett Detroit, Troy, MI
    • 3+ days/week in the office (Monday/Tuesday/Thursday or Monday/Wednesday/Thursday or Monday/Wednesday/Friday)
  • Minimal to no additional travel required

EXPERIENCE   

  • 1-year/Internship Business, traditional Agency or Advertising experience in digital, broadcast, print, collateral or catalogs preferred
