The APM/Meridium Systems Engineer supports sites globally in the use of APM and Meridium to manage equipment reliability, and manages the platforms on which APM and Meridium run. This role will be leveraged across the company to support the use of APM and Meridium in particular as it relates to mechanical integrity and quality assurance (MIQA) and is aligned with the corporate Process Safety Management (PSM) and Reliability and Maintenance (R&M) objectives and standard practices.
This successful candidate must have a good working knowledge of maintenance, reliability, and MIQA best practices. They must have the organizational capability to work with multiple sites, businesses, and systems and be able to communicate well with/influence operators, maintenance technicians, peers, and leadership. They must be able to lead multiple improvement teams at multiple sites and network with appropriate networks such as MIQANET and maintain a strong connect to technical organizations such as the Rotating Machinery, E&I, Process Equipment, and Global MIQA/R&M Competency Center groups.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Implement all APM/Meridium modules following defined standard practices and help sites to standardize their work practices using APM/Meridium. Teach sites how to use APM/Meridium as a key element of an overall reliability improvement process. Actively used modules include:
Thickness Monitoring
Inspection Manager
Risk Based Inspection
Reliability Analytics
Calibration Manager
Operator Rounds
Policy Manager
SAP Connector/APM Connect
Take primary role (as implementation lead) or supporting role for new sites and train site resources on how to manage their reliability and Mechanical Integrity programs in the APM/Meridium modules once implementation is completed.
Develop and document standard methodologies and training documents for using APM/Meridium.
Help sites develop and track maintenance, reliability, and MIQA performance and management metrics.
Continuously support sites as needed when issues arise or when update training is required.
Train engineers, inspectors, maintenance technicians, operators, and site module administrators on their role in using APM/Meridium to manage Mechanical Integrity and reliability work.
Provide awareness training to corporate and business resources on the APM/Meridium modules.
