What You’ll Do

• In this role you will support the Principal Audit Manager (PAM) in planning, executing and reporting the results of internal audits of controls over Private Banking related risks and controls
• Completion of assigned work orders within agreed timeframes, as well as coordination and timely escalation when necessary, involving all relevant stakeholders including the PAM
• Undertakes all aspects of audit fieldwork in line with the agreed audit approach including identification of key risks, documentation of process flows and key controls, testing controls and correctly documenting audit work
• Partners with other audit teams globally to ensure comprehensive audit coverage of Private Banking related risks and controls
• Proactively build and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, other parts of the business and respective support areas; this also includes experience-based support in the further development of methodological approaches

How You’ll Lead

• Within the team you will lead by example: undertaking audit assignments, drafting audit findings/reports for review by audit management and facilitating tracking of findings and validates closure of findings; executing day-to-day operational audit work and contributing to the delivery of audits
• Keep abreast of regulatory and audit related developments in the industry and ensure effective communication to enhance regulatory knowledge throughout the wider GA team

Skills You’ll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline. Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, Juris Doctor) and professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, CAMS, CFE, etc.) preferred
• In depth experience of working in an audit function within the financial services industry, with strong experience of leading audits or finding validations within a fast-paced business environment
• Good knowledge of regulatory requirements, and a thorough understanding of the risk and control environment within the financial services industry

• Flexible, proactive and innovative attitude with very strong organizational skills to meet agreed objectives such as timely and efficient completion of audit projects within agreed budget

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville, FL is $100,000 to $145,500.  Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.  P
