🧭 Learning & Development – Instructional Designer

We are looking for an experienced Instructional Designer to support our Learning & Development department. The right candidate will have 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining curricula and programs utilized to train employees in various functions. Experience will also include conducting needs assessments, selecting instructional models, and creating instructional content. Our Instructional Designer will partner closely with the department lead and other operational leaders to develop and design instructional materials to support training initiatives. They will also curate content and conduct T3 presentations on the use of materials, ensuring that instructional programs are effectively implemented, and evaluate content and adjust as required. 

At Infinitus you will:

• Partner with the department lead to create clear learning objectives in support of business goals
• Design and develop high-quality learning content to meet the needs of the supported audience, performance targets, and support training plans and initiatives
• Provide enhancements and revisions to existing materials based on SME/Stakeholder feedback, performance results, and business updates in accordance with company branding guidelines
• Maintain current knowledge of and implement latest industry tools and processes to improve the learning experience
• Collaborate with assigned L&D Staff and other Operational Leaders to create quality training deliverables
• Actively participate and/or facilitate in in-person or virtual meetings as needed to support learning projects
• Maintain accurate status of projects, milestones, and tasks
• Facilitate in-person or virtual “train the trainer” sessions
• Diagnose and escalate risks to design projects to appropriate L&D leaders and stakeholders
• Collaborate with leadership team and business subject matter experts to design large-scale, engaging learning that enhances business performance, with minimal support
• Design and develop comprehensive learning solutions, incorporating multiple deliverables (online, video, simulations, Instructor-led, Virtual, etc.), to meet business and performance objectives
• Manage all functions of eLearning design, including storyboarding, scripting, assessment, and multimedia inclusion
• Create and implement evaluation plans to demonstrate business impact of training initiatives
• Proactively partner with internal customers to determine performance and training needs
• Design instruction that reflects an understanding of the diversity of learners and groups of learners
• Model the adoption of ongoing improvements in team processes and standards
• Develop collaborative and positive partnerships to ensure that trainings meet expectations beyond initial implementation

We are looking for someone who has:

• Knowledge of instructional theory (ADDIE), including assessment
• Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS)
• Familiarity with design platforms and course management systems
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience in working in fast-paced environment
• Experience in managing and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines
• Critical thinking and analytical skills
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
• Ability to effectively utilize Google Suite Applications 
• 3+ years of experience in instructional design

• Experience as a classroom instructor
