If you are a motivated student with skills and interest in electromagnetics, RF, analog, and semiconductors, our Skyworks Andover, MA design center is looking for you!  As a home to an elite team of top IC design professionals you will work side by side with a mentor and grow your skills working on real products. Our Andover location specializes in RF connectivity products covering a range of solutions, end markets and applications. Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design of Integrated Circuits for Wireless Communications
  • Use advanced Mixed-Signal software environments for behavioral modeling and verification of mixed-signal integrated circuit systems
  • Design analog blocks such as amplifiers, bandgaps, detectors etc.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of graduate courses with projects related to analog circuit design, such as, Op-amp, DAC/ADC
  • Must be presently enrolled in a Masters or PhD program in Electrical Engineering with main courses related to analog circuit design.  Students who have already graduated are not eligible.
  • Must be able to complete Co-op term (June - December 2024)
  • Knowledge of cadence schematic, simulation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point.

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
