The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of compliance best practices, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to collaborate effectively across the organization.

Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.

The current range for this role is $154,000 - $240,000 (base salary) + bonus + equity + benefits.

Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additionally, these ranges reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

What You’ll Do

  • Enhance and Operationalize the Compliance Program: Enhance and operationalize the firm’s compliance program, monitoring that it remains robust and aligned with the company's evolving operations and its role in supporting regulated clients
  • Policy and Procedure Management: Create, update, and maintain clear and concise compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls (including corporate code of ethics), so that they are effectively communicated, understood, and consistently applied across the organization
  • Training and Awareness: Create and deliver compliance training programs to employees to reinforce a strong culture of compliance and understanding of relevant regulations and internal policies
  • Monitoring: Oversee and refine existing monitoring processes for continuous compliance with internal policies and relevant legal and regulatory requirements (especially as they relate to KYC/AML and supporting regulated clients)
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Legal, so that compliance considerations are seamlessly integrated into all aspects of the business lifecycle
  • Regulatory Awareness: Proactively stay informed about evolving regulatory landscapes and industry best practices relevant to the fintech industry and the regulated sectors our clients operate in. Analyze the potential impact of these changes on our business and our clients, and recommend necessary adjustments to our compliance program
  • Vendor Management: Contribute to the ongoing compliance due diligence of vendors, as needed
