ASICS Digital Inc.Senior Data EngineerBoston, MA Responsibilities: Scale the company’s production and analytics databases. Work with new database technologies and software to deliver new, data-driven functionality to the company’s Marketing, Ad, and Commerce teams. Design, implement, and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) ETL jobs and maintain and scale ASICS Digital’s ETL tooling process to ensure flexibility for future software enhancements. Apply Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse, CI/CD for software systems, and knowledge of data warehousing principles and practices to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Work with large data sets to make them performant, and tune and implement improvements in quality, reliability, scalability, and data access for the company’s production data stores. Work with Java, Python, relational databases, and new technology to process data more efficiently. Test data integrity with automation and AWS services and work with Product, Marketing, and eCommerce teams to build out necessary data warehousing infrastructure. Requirements: Master’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or a related field and two years in the job offered or two years data warehousing. Experience must include two years each of the following: computer programming; data pipelining and orchestration (ETL/ELT); data management including documentation, governance, data quality; data modeling; ingesting and maintaining large sets of data; and relational databases. Experience may be gained concurrently.
