Software Tester

We currently have a vacancy for an Software Tester fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Dublin, Ireland. The work will be carried out either on the company’s premises or on on-site customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team onsite and offsite.

Your tasks

• Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as Mobile, Desktop, and Web, and building test scenarios and acceptance tests;
• Analyzing and disintegrating software systems and coordinating with other teams to enhance the overall design;
• Understanding project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases;
• Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes;
• Regression test pack automation of existing manual pack and maintenance plan;
• Maintenance of automated tests and implementation of all new features in BDD;
• Working with deployments teams, resolving level issues for systems, coordinating on product design, and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Excellent designing and programming skills;
• Knowledge of programming languages and process management methodology;
• Knowledge of test methodologies;
• Good understanding of Behavior Driven Development;
• Ability to recognize risks and errors in an application;
• Excellent Selenium knowledge using Java or Python;
• Excellent command of the English language.
