Position Overview

This position supports the Store Leader with daily shop operations and installs solid and air tires on industrial equipment, including forklifts, both in-shop and on the road. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Working with store leadership team on incoming jobs
• Managing and ensuring all jobs are completed in a timely manner
• Customer communication and interaction
• Writing up estimates and work orders and communicating with clients/customers
• Calling on parts quotes and ordering parts for jobs
• Maximizing profitability and productivity
• Training and developing future service technicians
• Performance communications with technicians
• Controlling inventory levels
• Running Service calls as needed
• Assisting or completing in shop services as needed
• Assisting store leaders at the front counter as needed

This position is technical in nature and requires a large commitment and investment in personal training and development. 

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving      record
• Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Certification
• Mechanical Repair and Pneumatic Tool Experience a PLUS
• Must be able to lift over 100 lbs on occasion
• Excellent map reading and navigation skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members
• Must be able to stand, kneel and crawl while operating equipment and tools
• Must also be at least 21 years old
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must have strong computer skills in regard to: Microsoft Office, internet, and software navigation.
