Reporting Analyst, Financial SystemsAbout your role:
Fiserv delivers technology solutions that power financial services and commerce for clients worldwide. The Financial Systems team supports core finance processes by advancing reporting capabilities, improving governance, and streamlining financial data flows. As a Reporting Analyst, you will build and maintain analytics and reporting solutions that enable timely, accurate financial decision‑making across the organization.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with finance colleagues for data analysis and report development.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining financial reporting solutions.
- Work with technical teams on enhancing and deploying reporting solutions.
- Organize user training sessions and create training materials for reporting tools.
- Manage the creation, modification, and administration of finance master data records (such as Cost Centers and Profit Centers), ensuring strict adherence to data standards and governance protocols.
- Support global financial system implementations and gain proficiency in reporting functionalities.
- Act as a liaison between finance end-users and technical teams.
- Contribute to the design of analytics, reporting, and process improvements for efficiency.
- Coordinate and prepare for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure quality and user satisfaction.
Experience you’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Information Technology, Business, or a related field or 2+ years of relevant work experience or substantial internship experience in finance or a related field, or equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience,
- Experience in project management
- Experience in managing projects with attention to detail and a commitment to quality outcomes.
- Experience with ERP reporting tools, and development experience with analytics tools, such as Power BI, or Tableau.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Experience in presentations to convey insights and reporting findings effectively.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices to enhance reporting clarity.
- Experience with SAP ERP system.
- Proficiency in coding for data manipulation and analysis (e.g., SQL, Python).
- Experience in problem-solving with a proactive approach to challenges.
How you’ll work:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experience helps you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- This role requires the use of a computer and audio equipment.
- This role requires flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
