DSV Air & Sea, Inc. is a premier, “customer first” focused global supply chain provider. As such, we’re tasked with ensuring the safety and security of the Customer, as well as DSV assets, 7x24x365. This role is key to ensuring compliance with all security and regulatory initiatives, reporting to the North America Security Team, while working closely with Operations management.
General
- Ensure all Air & Sea facilities are compliant with documented Group & North America Security Standards
- Work with, periodically audit Air & Sea facilities to ensure all security equipment is functioning per DSV specifications
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and directives, such as TSA, FDA, US Customs
- Proactively work with government agencies to resolve issues
- Assess security requirements in new/existing facilities, and work with ITBM/Project Managers/External security integrators to design and implement DSV compliant security solutions
- Serve as customer facing security contact as needed
- Conduct investigations involving, but not limited to: Theft, Damage, Injury, Harassment
- Provide security related training material
- Work with security team on timely updates to security related documentation
- Project management of new or existing security system installations (cost, time, status, communication)
- Drive security process improvements (example: high value)
- Document security improvement plans – from creation to closure
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Project Management
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to adapt to new software easily
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must
- Detail oriented, organized, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to communicate both orally and in writing
- High level of customer service
- Familiarity with TSA, US Customs, FDA, Pharma, CTPAT, TAPA
- Moderate travel required: 25-30%
Educational Experience
2-5 yr. experience in a Security related environment
For this position, the expected base pay is: $62,500 - $84,500/ Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
