Purpose/Introduction

Responsibilities

  • Provide instructional design subject matter expertise concerning curricula and content structure
  • Provides recommendations and expertise on the development of online learning modules
  • Facilitates standardization of tools, work processes, procedures, and work methods, in compliance with company guidelines, legislation, regulations, and policies
  • Provides consultation to business lines, conducts needs assessments for training courses and works with subject matter experts on development of course content
  • Ensures regulatory compliance training is implemented and completed
  • Sources learning content with internal SME networks or with external learning vendors
  • Evaluates effectiveness of learning solutions
  • Leads and facilitates Corporate Learning Management Training (CLMT) Best Practice Team meetings
  • Develops, implements, and manages communication strategy with stakeholders, maintaining a focus on best practice sharing

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • At least 5 years of related experience in learning-related or organizational development roles
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven facilitation skills
  • Excellent Microsoft skills (e.g., Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook)
  • Proficient with instructional design software and tools
  • Proficient with Learning Management Systems

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, or other relevant field of study
  • Experience in Oil & Gas or Chemicals industries
