Key Responsibilities:
KBR is seeking a Joint Force Operations Planner to join our team in Alexandria, VA area to support on-site mission engineering, analysis, and integration expertise to produce objective insights and analytic justification to inform future technology and capability investment decisions within the Planning, Programming, and Budgeting Execution (PPBE) process and aid in the prioritization, alignment and validation of requirements within Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) to deliver modernized capabilities that enable an all domain joint force aligned with future Joint Warfighting Concepts in support of the Office of the Undersecretary for Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)) Mission Integration.
Responsibilities
As a Joint Force Operations Planner with KBR you will work as an integral member of a government/contractor team in support of our customer's operations organization. The team constructs, manages, and conducts discrete mission engineering and analysis study tasks to evaluate the efficacy of legacy architectures and new technologies and capabilities applied in new mission concepts of employment to meet evolving joint mission objectives. This position will be located in the Alexandria, VA area.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
You will aid in the development and execution of Mission Engineering Studies, similar to wargames and tabletop exercises (TTXs) at the strategic and operational level.
Consult on the application, understanding, and experience with warfighting disciplines, COA analysis, strategy development, and organizational processes and procedures to craft wargames that allow participants to inform plans, examine assumptions, and build stakeholder relationships.
Support planning through advice on potential threat actors and their impact on military operations, government, and commercial activities.
Collaborate within the team to develop CONOP/CONEMPs, metrics to measure mission success, and assist the team in understanding operational activities.
Coordinate with the Warfighter, Joint Staff, and Service Intelligence Centers to support ongoing and future operations.

Qualifications:
Required:
3+ years of experience strategic writing.
3+ years CCMD staff, Joint Staff, or Service Staff experience.
Development of Concept of Operations, Concept of Employment, and Intelligence Threat Briefs.
In-depth understanding of the Department of Defense (DoD) and the United States Intelligence Community (USIC).
Must have good analytic skills and the ability to apply them in a multi-tasking environment where more than one project may require his/her participation at any given time.
This position will require a strong ability and willingness to work in a team environment.
Candidates must possess and demonstrate proven communication skills – written and verbal.
Must be a motivated self-starter who is able to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment, often with minimal guidance and within rigid timelines.
