Zayo is seeking a Data Analytics & Reporting Manager to lead the finance data analytics and reporting function, ensuring structured demand intake, prioritization, and agile delivery of reporting and analytics solutions. Our Data Analytics & Reporting Manager will report directly to the Head of Financial Systems & Reporting and will manage the Lead Program Analyst and Senior Data Engineer, working closely with finance, operations, and IT teams.

As the Scrum Leader for the finance analytics team, our Data Analytics & Reporting Manager will drive agile execution under the SAFe framework, ensuring timely delivery of reporting and data solutions. The Data Analytics & Reporting Manager will oversee data modeling, analytics dashboards, ETL processes, and reporting frameworks, aligning efforts with finance’s strategic objectives and data-driven decision-making needs.

*We're open to this position working remotely within the United States or Canada with the expectation of working Mountain Time hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages and provides strategic direction to the Lead Program Analyst and Senior Data Engineer.

  • Oversees the team’s performance, career development, and skill-building efforts.

  • Owns and manages the finance data analytics & reporting demand intake process, working closely with finance leadership to prioritize initiatives.

  • Acts as the Scrum Leader for the finance analytics team, facilitating sprint planning, backlog grooming, and work prioritization under SAFe.

  • Ensures alignment between data analytics needs, finance systems strategy, and reporting objectives.

  • Maintains transparency in delivery timelines and progress updates for stakeholders.

  • Leads the design and development of financial data models, analytics dashboards, and reports to support decision-making.

  • Oversees SQL, Snowflake, and ETL development, ensuring data accuracy, governance, and accessibility.

  • Partners with the Lead Program Analyst and Senior Data Engineer to enhance financial data pipelines and automation initiatives.

  • Develops and manages a self-service analytics framework, enabling finance teams to access and analyze data efficiently.

  • Works closely with Accounting, FP&A, Business Intelligence, and IT to align data strategies with business needs.

  • Ensures finance leadership has access to accurate, timely, and actionable data insights.

  • Partners with the OneStream team to ensure seamless integration between financial systems and analytics capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field Business, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or Computer Science required. Masters degree in a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in financial data analytics, reporting, or data management.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience leading or managing and mentoring a team (ideally overseeing data engineers and analysts).

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, and ETL development.

  • Familiarity with financial reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Dataiku, Sigma, etc.).

  • Experience working in an agile environment, preferably with SAFe framework experience is strongly preferred.

  • Experience with FP&A platforms is a plus

  • Experience in IT service management including ServiceNow or Jira is a plus.

  • Ability to translate business needs into technical data solutions.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Estimated base pay: $110,000 - $134
