Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at retail location, providing customer service to clients and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail store and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or behaviors.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management.
• Document and report any incidents, observations, or unusual occurrences according to company and client guidelines.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance to staff, customers, and visitors as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
