We’re looking for an enthusiastic and engaged Director of Rehabilitation to lead our growing therapy program. This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed PT, OT, or SLP who enjoys both clinical care and leadership and wants to play a key role in developing and expanding rehabilitation services.

 

With the addition of a new Distinct Part Unit (DPU) on the horizon, this role is ideal for someone eager to grow professionally while helping shape and expand a high-quality rehab program.

 

What You’ll Do

As the Director of Rehabilitation, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the therapy department while helping guide the long-term growth of our inpatient and outpatient rehab services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide leadership and oversight for the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy departments

  • Manage and support a team of approximately 15–20 therapy staff members

  • Develop and maintain therapy schedules and patient-specific treatment programs

  • Participate in Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings and collaborate on patient care planning

  • Maintain a defined percentage of patient care, staying connected to clinical practice

  • Oversee staffing, program development, and service expansion

  • Manage budget development and monitoring

  • Lead quality assurance, program evaluation, and risk management initiatives

  • Support marketing and outreach efforts to grow rehabilitation services

  • Work closely with hospital leadership, physicians, mid-level providers, and clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday

  • No weekends

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development, management, and operation of both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services.
  • Staffing, program development, budget development and monitoring, program evaluation, quality assurance, risk management and marketing support relating to the program.
  • Responsible for a defined percentage of patient care on a regular basis.

Qualifications

  • Current license as a PT, OT or SLP in state where hospital resides is required.
  • Current BLS certification is required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years in supervisory role preferred.
  • A collaborative leader who is energetic, engaged, and passionate about program growth and team development.
