Maintenance Technician

Great Lakes Christian Homes, a non-profit, independent living, retirement community, is seeking a qualified individual who enjoys working with older adults to join our Maintenance team.

Perform routine apartment maintenance, including but not limited to, changing light bulbs and filters, carpet cleaning, painting, minor electrical, plumbing & HVAC, snow removal, lawn care, etc. Some lifting is required. Rotating on-call schedule for evening and weekend emergencies. Must have a valid driver's license in good standing, be at least 18 years old and able to pass employment screening including drug test. Pay based on experience.

Requirements
1. High School Diploma or equivalent with working knowledge of maintenance systems required.
2. Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
3. Must have a thorough knowledge of general building and equipment maintenance processes.
4. Ability to use standard equipment used for Maintenance Department.
