POSITION SUMMARY
The position will be responsible for all corporate accounting and reporting areas such as monthly, quarterly and year end internal reporting and close activities. In addition responsibilities will include annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for investment income and general operating expenses of the division. In addition to excellent US GAAP knowledge, prior knowledge in real estate is a plus. This person needs to be proactive with issues and responsive to management.
EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- Demonstrated experience with corporate financial reporting, analysis and review.
- Must have experience working under pressure with multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate interaction with various Corebridge service departments as well as groups within Corebridge Real Estate Investors.
- Experience with Real Estate, Investments and Private Equity Funds would be helpful.
FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITY
- Coordination, preparation, review and analysis of financial reporting; including GAAP financial statements and other project specific reporting. Includes involvement with reporting from various third parties and investments and reporting to third parties, Corebridge Real Estate Investors and other Corebridge entities.
- Working closely with the Portfolio Analytics team to develop the quarterly NII forecast for the portfolio.
- Annual budgeting of the general operating expenses for the real estate team.
- Assist in the resolution of daily accounting department issues.
- Involvement with offshore staff from Accenture.
- Training and mentoring, including providing feedback to Accenture staff.
SKILLS/EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree with major in accounting (preferred) or Finance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. There will be heavy interaction with many parties in different cultures. The ability to communicate effectively is important.
- Excellent computer skills. Experience with accounting software preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant or equivalent a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, capable of working independently, strong organizational skills, flexibility and ability to identify and resolve issues.

The base salary range for this position In New York, New York is $82,000 - $110,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. In addition, we’re proud to offer a range of competitive benefits.
