Retail Host & Service Associate - Part-Time

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

The Host / Service Associate is a multi-faceted position that will be an ambassador of the brand, initiating the process of building a warm, genuine relationship with our clients. The Host is our clients’ first point of contact within the store and sets the tone for their experience while they are with us. They will initiate our queue, engage our clients while waiting, and invite them to register for appointments when necessary. While in the store, they become a Service Associate and will primarily be responsible for providing guests with an enjoyable, expertly served beverage experience following Chrome Hearts standards of excellence for quality, professionalism, and friendliness. The Service Associate develops a complete working knowledge of all hot and cold products, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, served by the bar. They ensure proper pouring, mixing, and blending of drinks in accordance with all health and safety regulations. We are looking for hospitality-focused people who also love executing their work with accuracy and care.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

HOST

• Welcome clients with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism, providing an excellent first impression of our brand to all visitors.
• Ensure every client has a seamless and luxurious experience, and leaves with an appreciation for Chrome Hearts.
• Manage Client flow by animating wait time while complying with control and security policies.
• Actively listen to Clients to relay needs to the Management and Sales Team .
• Manage the daily client appointment calendar, promoting our appointment service as required.
• Support special events based on the business needs.
• Assist with other duties within the store as needed.

SERVICE ASSOCIATE

• Greeting customers and taking orders.
• Prepare and serve customers alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks.
• Maintain Stock of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink ingredients
• Assist in gift wrapping purchases when needed.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Attention to detail.
• Maintain high quality and consistent product standards.
• Effectively completing opening and closing duties.
• Keep the bar area clean.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with Management Team, Peers, and other Chrome Hearts Store Teams.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines/regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School graduate or GED preferred.
• Prior coffee making/service experience required.
• Experience in Concierge Services, Hosting Services, VIP Relations, and/or Hospitality Management preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the highest level of verbal and written communication
• Comfortable navigating difficult conversations respectfully, diffusing conflict and creating a serene environment for clients
• Completed courses in food safety and sanitation preferred.
• Certified training by NY State Liquor Authority preferred
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
• Strong team player with a friendly attitude
• Foreign language skills are a plus.
• Flexible availability to include working some nights, weekends, and holidays.
