Summary:
Lincoln Electric is seeking a CAD Designer Drafter for our Cleveland headquarters. This is an outstanding opportunity to join Lincoln's Plant Engineering group, who implements capital projects and provides engineering support to the Cleveland Operation. The CAD Designer-Drafter is responsible for the drafting needs for the Facility Engineering Department and with the implementation of AutoCAD and Autodesk Vault management in the Plant Engineering Department.

Responsibilities:
- Support Plant Engineers and Maintenance with creation and/or modifying facility and layout drawings.
- Create, modify, retrieve, and store electronic files using document management system and/or database. (Autodesk Vault)
- Analyze designs and confer with the engineering staff to resolve details not completely defined.
- Assist the CAD Administrator in training CAD users and developing training content. Other duties as assigned by manager.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of templates and schematics.
- Primarily work in 2D AutoCAD
Experience & Education Required:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
- Highly motivated to quickly learn electrical CAD drafting skills and applications.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with software applications; AutoCAD, Autodesk, MicroStation experience is a plus.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good verbal & written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to propose innovative solutions.
Preferred
- Professional experience in schematic drafting layout preferred.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Autodesk is a plus.
- Knowledge of MicroStation is a plus.
