Requirements
The Project Manager, Physical Security Solutions - Hybrid is responsible for the successful delivery of small, medium and enterprise security solutions achieved through comprehensive planning, strong organizational skills, and effective communications. Solutions typically include a mix of video surveillance, access control, burglar/alarm monitoring, structured cabling, etc. This candidate’s primary goal is to deliver a quality implementation experience one that meets both the budget and the committed timelines while exceeding the expectations of the Customer. This in turn provides us with the opportunity to continue to build a loyal and strong Customer base essential to New Era’s continued growth and success in the marketplace.
The Project Manager will serve as a single point of contact for the Customer and is empowered to represent New Era in all matters related to a given project. As such, this individual must possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively orchestrate the efforts of the New Era team including representatives from Sales, Engineering, Services, Materials Management & Finance. We are seeking an individual who is a self-starter, possesses a strong work ethic, is committed to their own professional growth & development as well as the growth & future of New Era. Seasoned experience with Lenel, Avigilon and similar security offerings is also desirable.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
· Management & oversight of security projects, implementations and initiatives
· Develop, document, publish & update supporting project plans
· Chair both internal & Customer sponsored project team meetings
· Publish formal meeting minutes for Customer sponsored project team meetings
· Schedule/coordinate activities of internal resources (Engineers, Field Services Technicians)
· Coordinate, track & inventory materials (hardware, software & licensing) orders and RMAs
· Resolve and/or escalate project issues impacting the provisioning effort
· Develop, document & obtain customer approval of proposed Training & Cutover Plans
· Schedule/coordinate resources for Customer End-User & System Administration training
· Oversee the execution of the cutover and post-cutover test plans
· Working with the lead Field Services Technician document & address open punch-list issues
· Conduct Closeout Meeting with Customer to complete final acceptance & account transition
· Coordinate the Customer’s participation in a 3rd Party Customer Satisfaction Survey;
· Maintain continuous communications with the Customer throughout the course of the project
· Provide ongoing updates to Account Managers on the progress of the project & related issues
