DCI’s education centers on an </span><strong>International Baccalaureate </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">curriculum, </span><strong>advanced language learning</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> in Chinese, Spanish, and French, and a culture </span><strong>focused on</strong> <strong>student agency </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">supported by 1:1 technology.</span></p></div><p><strong>Position Overview: DCI is hiring a full-time Dedicated Aide for next school year 26-27.</strong> The Dedicated Aide assists in the supervision and instruction of students with disabilities or special&nbsp;needs in a regular or special education classroom; observes and documents student progress; implements plans for&nbsp;instruction; and provides clerical support, as needed. Dedicated Aides at DCI also have afternoon duty posts and&nbsp;responsibilities to support after school programming.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Compensation:</strong> (Starting salary is determined by education and years of relevant experience).</p> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>High school diploma or equivalent required. </strong>(Associates<strong>, </strong>Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent is highly preferred)</li> <li>Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus.</li> <li>Ability to lift and carry orders and deliveries short distances.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li> <li>Experience in a school environment.</li> <li>Comfortable in a Mac environment.</li> <li>Able to draft and create documents and spreadsheets.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Qualities &amp; Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Adapt classroom activities, assignments and/or materials under the direction of the teacher for the purpose of providing an opportunity for students with disabilities or special needs to participate in classroom activities.</li> <li>Support student’s independent achievement and growth through implementation of best practices.</li> <li>Provide opportunities and support for children to understand, acquire, and use their tools to complete their work.</li> <li>Reinforce the use
