Brook Lane Clinical Therapist – Laurel Hall School (Hagerstown, MD Campus)
Full‑Time | 80 Hours Bi‑Weekly | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Brook Lane is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Therapist to join our Laurel Hall School team in Hagerstown, MD. This is a meaningful opportunity to support school‑aged children and adolescents through therapeutic services that promote emotional well‑being, academic success, and personal growth.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide counseling, collaborate with educators and families, and help create a supportive environment where students can thrive.
What You’ll Do
- Provide therapeutic services to Laurel Hall students, including individual and group counseling.
- Support students’ emotional and behavioral needs within a school‑based setting.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.
- Maintain documentation and complete required trainings in accordance with Brook Lane and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Education
- Completion of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited program.
Experience
- Training and/or experience working with school‑aged children and adolescents in clinical, educational, or behavioral health settings.
Licensure & Certifications
- LCSW‑C or LCPC (licensed at the certified clinical level).
- Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid certification.
- Valid Driver’s License and driving record meeting Meritus vehicle policy requirements.
- Annual submission of a certified driving record and signed acknowledgment of Attestation A per Meritus Vehicle Management Use and Control policy.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Commitment to maintaining licensure requirements and completing assigned trainings.
