About the Team
Our Infrastructure Engineering team builds and operates hyperscale data centers, manages the full lifecycle of server clusters, delivers cloud solutions, and develops foundational infrastructure services. We ensure scalability and reliability of systems, supporting the company’s rapid growth.

Responsibilities:
As a Cloud Leader, you will b designing, building, scaling, and operating ByteDance’s global infrastructure across large-scale systems in both public and private cloud environments.
- Develop internal tools, automation frameworks, visualization platforms, and monitoring systems to streamline workflows and continuously improve the efficiency of global infrastructure.
- Build, manage, and standardize multi-environment cloud images (e.g., AMIs and machine images) in compliance with global security and governance standards.
- Continuously improve operational efficiency in public cloud environments, proactively identifying and mitigating reliability risks.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment by participating in on-call rotations and handling incidents related to cloud platforms, operating systems, networking, performance, and system reliability.
- Drive continuous improvement across the full infrastructure lifecycle - from ideation and architecture design to development, deployment, user support, and ongoing optimization.

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $244800 - $588000 annually.
