Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to oversee our organization’s IT infrastructure and enterprise architecture initiatives. This member of the IT leadership team will ensure the integration of IT infrastructure strategy with enterprise architecture to drive business innovation and operational excellence. This role will oversee the development, governance, and optimization of IT infrastructure while fostering a technology-driven culture and aligning IT capabilities with organizational goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

IT Infrastructure Strategy and Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT infrastructure strategy in alignment with the organization’s mission and enterprise architecture goals.
  • Serve as a thought leader on IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
  • Partner with senior leaders (including Advanced Analytics, InfoSec, Factory, Enterprise Applications, End User Services, Engineering, G&A, etc) to integrate IT infrastructure strategy into overall business and IT strategy.

Enterprise Architecture

  • Collaborate with IT leadership to design and implement enterprise architecture frameworks that support robust IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure seamless integration of IT platforms, tools, and processes within the broader enterprise architecture.
  • Drive the alignment of IT systems with business objectives, ensuring scalability, interoperability, and efficiency.
  • Oversee IT architecture to ensure it supports business continuity, disaster recovery, and real-time operations.

IT Governance and Compliance

  • Establish and enforce IT governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, NIST).
  • Implement robust IT security and privacy practices within the enterprise architecture.
  • Maintain the integrity, reliability, and availability of IT assets across the enterprise.

Technology and Infrastructure Management

  • Lead the development and optimization of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with strategic objectives.
  • Leverage technology insights to identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost savings.

Vendor and Technology Management

  • Design and oversee scalable IT infrastructure aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and assess their potential to enhance enterprise and IT infrastructure.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure alignment of technology solutions with organizational goals.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing team of IT architects, engineers, and analysts.
  • Promote a collaborative environment between IT and other teams, ensuring alignment on enterprise architecture goals.
  • Mentor team members to develop technical and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Enterprise Architecture, or related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
  • 20+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and technology management, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.

  • Storage systems (SAN, NAS)
